KaiAloha Supply Joins Forces with KOA & AccesSurf
At KaiAloha Supply, we believe the ocean has a unique power to heal, connect, and inspire. This past Saturday on January 17, our Maui team had the incredible honor of witnessing that power firsthand as we joined forces with Kahakukahi Ocean Academy (KOA) and AccesSurf Hawaii for a truly unforgettable "Day at the Beach."
The Power of Inclusive Surfing
The mission was simple but profound: changing lives one wave at a time. Through surfing, canoeing, and the simple joy of a day in the sun, this event provided a space where everyone—regardless of ability—could experience the healing powers of the ocean.
We were moved by the courage and connection shown by every participant. It was a beautiful reminder of how important organizations like KOA and AccesSurf are for our community, fostering an environment where "Ocean Therapy" is accessible to all.
Showing Up for the Community: KaiAloha Supply on the Ground

The success of the day was a massive collaborative effort. We were able to get 18 participants into the water thanks to the dedicated help of: incredible physical therapists and local surfers, the brave men from the Maui Fire Department, local keiki who stepped up to help bring in donations, and the generous support from partners at Duke’s Maui and The Westin Maui.
Witnessing the Impact
From the first paddle out to the last ride into shore, the day was filled with smiles and breakthroughs. Whether it was someone catching their very first wave or the shared laughter during a canoe ride, the aloha spirit was palpable.
