Our Eco Mission

At KaiAloha Supply, the ocean isn't just our inspiration, it’s our home. We love our ocean, and we know our customers do too. That’s why we are actively working to reduce our footprint and give back to the land and sea that sustain us by replacing fabrics with recycled alternatives where we can. You can already find these recycled materials built into fan-favorite gear like our 'Aina Hats, Kai Volley Line, and KaiQ Duffel Bags.

We have also eliminated single-use bags at our checkouts. Instead, we offer durable, reusable canvas bags through our Canvas Bag Project launched in August 2022. Every canvas bag purchased helps us make meaningful contributions to local environmental non-profit organizations on the front lines of ocean conservation. Through these partnerships, we support vital efforts towards a more sustainable environment, including beach cleanups, ocean water sampling, turtle rescues, coral reef restoration, reef-friendly landscaping, and oyster restoration projects. Since the launch of the project, we have worked closely with organizations like the Maui Nui Marine Resource Council, Hui O Ka Wai Ola, Surfrider Maui, and the Hawaii Wildlife Fund.

In addition to our Canvas Bag Project, our team participates in numerous community service events on island. We are proud to have joined forces with 40+ nonprofit partners, donated 900+ volunteer tees, hats, and rash guards, and committed to keeping our island roads clean through our Adopt-A-Highway program with four major cleanups every year. We are always excited to link arms with even more organizations across Maui and our neighboring islands who share our mission to protect and cherish the ocean.
