Our Oahu Team Joins Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii
At KaiAloha Supply, our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of Hawaii runs deep— from the mountains to the sea. To kick off the new year with purpose, our Oahu team recently joined forces with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii (SCH) for their first volunteer event of 2026. This partnership is a testament to our shared dedication: keeping our islands beautiful and our coastlines pristine for generations to come.
We are incredibly proud to align ourselves with the SCH ohana. Their powerful mission to inspire local communities to care for their coastlines through hands-on cleanups and impactful education resonates deeply with the heart of our own Eco Mission.
Showing Up for the Aina: KaiAloha Supply on the Ground with SCH

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, our KaiAloha Supply Oahu team embarked on our first volunteer mission of the year. We headed to the James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge in Kahuku to participate in the SCH Small Kine Cleanup. It was a day dedicated not just to picking up debris along the North Shore, but to connecting with our community, understanding the tangible impact of plastic pollution, and collectively taking a stand for the health of our precious ocean. These moments—working side-by-side with passionate volunteers—are the true heartbeat of our Eco Mission. They represent a commitment to taking meaningful action, supporting local efforts, and actively preserving the breathtaking places that make Hawaii our beloved home.
About Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii: Leading the Way in Conservation

Featuring our Kalakaua store manager, Talia, putting our mission into motion at Kahuku, cleaning up debris and showing up for the ʻāina. "It was so interesting to see how Hawaii is literally in a cycle of trash; we get debris from all over the world, and during our cleanup, we even found several items that had drifted all the way from Japan." Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii has quickly grown into a powerful force for environmental change throughout the islands. Through organizing massive cleanup events, implementing innovative waste-reduction programs, and delivering engaging educational initiatives, they empower residents and visitors alike to become active stewards of our coastlines.
Their unique "fun-filled" approach to environmentalism demonstrates that when we come together as an ohana, we can create a significant, positive impact. Check out our instagram to learn more about this event and how SCH is turning the tide on plastic pollution through dedicated coordination and community education.
Committing to a Cleaner Future

Sam, our HHV Store Manager on the far right, was amazed to discover rubbery "globs" of microplastics that mimicked lava rock and were even fusing with the reef, a stark reminder of why we show up to care for the ʻāina and how good it feels to leave our beaches better than we found them. As we look ahead to the rest of 2026, this inaugural volunteer event with SCH serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when we prioritize the aina. We are incredibly grateful to the SCH leadership and the dedicated volunteers who welcomed our team with open arms and shared their passion for a cleaner Hawaii.
KaiAloha Supply is honored to support their vital work. We eagerly anticipate many more days spent on the sand, doing the essential work, and ensuring that Hawaii’s stunning beaches remain pristine for all to enjoy.
