Beach to Reef Clean Up with

KOA x Parley

At KaiAloha Supply, our mission goes beyond the gear we wear. It’s about the waters we love and the community that protects them. This past Friday, February 13th, 2026, our team headed out to West Maui to join forces with Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy (KOA) x Parley AIR Station HONOKAHUA for the Beach to Reef Clean Up.

Protecting Our West Maui Coastline

The day was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together to mālama ʻāina (care for the land). Starting at ‘Ūhā‘īlio (Sharkpit) and working our way toward ‘Uo (Breakwall), our crew joined a sea of volunteers dedicated to removing debris from both the sand and the reef.

The day was about far more than just the cleanup, it was a celebration of community and connection. Pictured here in a quick selfie, our Maui District Manager, Christiane (left), and our Lahaina Cannery store team spent the morning diligently collecting litter to ensure our coastline remains pristine for the next generation (Photo courtesy Christiane Keyhani). Following the hard work, the community refueled with a shared lunch and snacks provided by local favorites like Fork & Salad and Duke's Maui. To wrap up the afternoon, everyone headed into the water for a free surf session— the perfect way to honor the very ocean our community worked so hard to protect. Moments like these remind us that when we lead with aloha, we can truly make a lasting impact on our island home.

Why We Show Up

Participating in events like these is at the very core of our Eco Mission. Whether we are out in the water or walking the shoreline, our goal is to inspire others to live a lifestyle that honors and preserves our natural resources. Join the Movement

The work doesn’t stop when the event ends— it’s a mindset we carry with us every time we step into the sand. We encourage everyone to keep the momentum going by picking up a few pieces of trash during your next beach day. After all, our keiki are watching. Seeing the passion and smiles from these young Eco Warriors as they helped clean the West Maui coastline reminds us exactly why we work so hard to protect our island home. They aren't just the next generation of ocean stewards; they are leading the way today (Image courtesy Alyssa Kuwana).

Mahalo to everyone who came out to help us care for our coastline!
