Our Third Annual Holiday Keiki Toy Drive
The holiday season is a time for connection, gratitude, and giving— and at KaiAloha Supply, those values guide everything we do. For the third year in a row, our teams across Hawaii came together for our Holiday Keiki Toy Drive, continuing a tradition rooted in community, teamwork, and giving with intention.
What started as a simple idea has grown into something deeply meaningful. This year, each KaiAloha Supply store partnered with a local, keiki-focused nonprofit and thoughtfully shopped for toys and gifts tailored to the children they serve. Across Maui and Oahu, our teams worked closely with nonprofit partners, shopped locally whenever possible, and delivered each donation with care. KaiAloha Supply is proud to donate over $9,000.00 worth of toys to 10 keiki nonprofit across Maui and Oahu.
Giving with Intention Across Maui

The team selected art supplies, STEM kits, tech accessories, LEGO sets, and thoughtful self-care items requested for the girls.
The experience extended beyond shopping. On December 16, the team met with Paul Tonnessen, Executive Director of the organization, as he collected donations from across the island.
“It was such a rewarding and fun experience to shop for children’s wish lists this holiday season,” shared Lavay. “Being able to choose fun and engaging activities that they can use over time made the experience especially meaningful.”

District Manager Kristen Solberg joined store teams during donation drop-offs, reinforcing KaiAloha Supply’s commitment to hands-on leadership and community connection. On Oʻahu, KaiAloha Supply teams continued the tradition of giving with aloha— supported by leadership that showed up alongside them.

During their visit, the team toured the Make-A-Wish office with Arden Salassa, Senior Manager of Corporate Philanthropy and Partnerships, to learn more about the foundation’s mission and the families they support. The experience was made even more meaningful by shopping locally at Soha Keiki, allowing the team to include even more toys in their donation.
“Thank you for having a heart for the meaningful work we do,” shared Arden. “You are playing a big part in bringing joy to our kids. Big mahalo for all of your wonderful gifts and for taking the time to learn more about our work.”

“This experience was fun and very fulfilling,” shared Talia Machado, Kalākaua Store Manager. “Seeing people’s reactions while we shopped and knowing how many kids this would reach made us feel incredibly proud to give back during the holidays.” Assistant Store Manager, Alaina Degray, added, “We donated about two carts’ worth of toys for kids and teens. It was great to see so many of us come together to help for a good cause.”
A Tradition Rooted in Community
As we reflect on our third annual Holiday Keiki Toy Drive, we’re reminded that what makes this tradition special isn’t just the toys— it’s the time, care, and intention behind every gift. By empowering our teams to build relationships with local nonprofits and give thoughtfully, we continue to honor a tradition that grows stronger each year.
From all of us at KaiAloha Supply, mahalo for being part of a season filled with generosity, connection, and aloha. We’re grateful to give back— and we look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.
