We are incredibly proud to support Paepae o Heʻeia and their tireless mission to restore the 800-year-old Heʻeia Fishpond, ensuring a more sustainable and food-secure future for Hawaii.
Protecting the Stewards of the Fishpond
The work at the fishpond is physically demanding, involving long days on the water and under the sun to maintain this historic site. To help the crew stay protected during their hours of cultural stewardship, our KaiAloha Supply team recently donated rash guards to the entire Paepae o Heʻeia staff (Image courtesy of Keli'i Kotubetey). We want to ensure the team stays cool, comfortable, and sun-safe while they perform the vital work of managing the pond’s resources. Seeing the crew in their new gear is a wonderful reminder of the strong bond between our brand and the people on the front lines of conservation.

Our love for Paepae o Heʻeia goes beyond donations; it is about active participation and shared responsibility. We are excited to announce that our involvement continues this spring, as our Oahu team will be joining the crew on the ground for their upcoming workday on May 9th.
