A Behind-The-Scenes Look: KaiAloha Supply Loves The Ocean
Over the past three months, team members from all six of KaiAloha Supply's store locations participated in 18 community outreach events on Maui and Oahu. They joined over six environmental nonprofits (who we call Eco Warriors) for beach cleanups, ocean water testing, keiki (kids) ocean clinics, bird watching, garden planting, facility grand openings, and so much more! In addition to volunteer hours, KaiAloha Supply donated $2,000 to Whale Trust, Hawaii Wildlife Fund, and Hui O Ka Wai Ola. Continue reading to learn more about our local community behind these initiatives and their continued efforts as we enter the second half of 2025.

Why Does KaiAloha Supply Care?
We pride ourselves to be more than just a retail brand -- it's part of our Eco Mission. When our customers visit our store locations, they'll notice our framed Eco Warrior stories, which showcase the environmental work that our team contributes to and supports off of the sales floor. KaiAloha Supply cares because Hawaii is not just a travel destination. For most of us, it's home. That's why having clean ocean water is important: for our safety, for water recreation, and for our marine life. That's also why we prioritize going green: environmental friendly choices like reducing the use of plastic and paper, reusing repurposed goods, recycling cans and bottles, and even composting food or yard waste goes a long way. Behind every KaiAloha Supply product is the piece of aloha our customers get to take home with them, a piece of memorabilia. But we want to emphasize that it's so much more than just that symbolism. It's about loving the ocean no matter where you are on the planet.
How Is KaiAloha Supply Able To Do This?
We've created canvas tote bags that our customers can reuse again and again. Whether it's an errand bag, a grocery bag, a beach bag, or something you use day-to-day, it's convenient and multipurpose for your needs. When our customers purchase any of our canvas bags in-stores and online, $1.00 of these proceeds funnel to our donation bank. This is what allows us to make monetary and collaborated apparel donations with our partners, our environmental Eco Warriors. We're able to do this with your continued support and shared love for the ocean! Mahalo nui loa.
