At KaiAloha Supply, our mission has always been rooted in connection to the ocean, to our community, and to the stories that remind us why protecting our island home matters. Today, we are honored to share the journey of someone who lives that mission with extraordinary purpose: 6x World Para Surfing Champion, world record holder, adventurer, physiotherapist, cancer survivor, ocean lover, and self-described wheelie-popping baddie, Victoria Feige.
Victoria’s Journey: A Story of Courage and Renewal
Victoria’s path is one marked by courage and reinvention. At just eighteen, a snowboarding accident left her partially paralyzed, reshaping her life in ways she never expected. Yet instead of closing the door on the sports and movement she once loved, she chose to reimagine her relationship with them. Guided by a deep connection to the ocean, she began exploring adaptive surfing — a return not to her past, but to a new, evolving version of herself.
That return became the foundation of an extraordinary athletic career. Victoria rose to the top of her discipline, earning six world para surfing titles and setting world records along the way. Her achievements speak to her talent, but her motivation remains rooted in something more personal: the freedom she finds in the water, the joy of movement, and the sense of possibility that surfing continues to offer her.
Her story is a reminder that renewal is not simply about recovering what was lost, but discovering what can be rebuilt. Through her resilience, Victoria transforms challenge into purpose, and the ocean becomes both a sanctuary and a source of strength.
