Today, we are honored to share the story of someone who embodies that mission in the most profound way: surfer and community inspiration, Carter Parry.
Carter’s Journey: A Story of Strength and Renewal
Carter’s story is one of remarkable resilience. After losing his leg due to a life-threatening bacterial infection and enduring more than 30 surgeries, life changed in an instant. What could have been the end of his connection to the water instead became the beginning of a new chapter. Through courage, determination, and an unshakable love for the ocean, Carter found his way back onto a surfboard and into the place where he feels most alive.
His journey has inspired thousands, demonstrating that healing is not only possible, but powerful — especially when supported by community, purpose, and the grounding force of the ocean. Today, Carter continues to surf, push boundaries, and share a message of hope that reaches far beyond the shoreline.
