Mahalo nui loa is not enough to let you know how much love, respect and appreciation we have for so many friends, family, customers and new supporters that came together. You all blew away our initial goal of selling 1,000 t-shirts to raise much needed immediate funds for our Maui team who lost so much during the devastating fires.
Together, you helped us raise over $230,000 to support the KaiAloha 'Ohana and we have been immediately getting money out to our team. The money has been used for so many things that we all take for granted everyday; food, clothing, cleaning supplies, personal care products, hotel rooms, gas, phones, and so much more. Our team has also used funds to help their families and community and that is the positive impact we are having in Maui through your very generous support.
Our ongoing Maui Strong Fund campaign allows us to make sure we are taking care of our KaiAloha 'Ohana's future. Going forward, a portion of every purchase you make of our updated and expanded
Maui Strong collection will go directly to our Maui Strong Fund. We will continue to send funds, along with your love and support, to our community severely impacted by the Maui fires. On that dreaded day, KaiAloha Supply lost our two stores at 640 and 850 Front Street and all of our inventory, store fixtures, displays and equipment. We will rebuild when we are able, but overnight, 40% of our business was gone. Positive energy, your love and support, and ideally some increased online business will allow us to move forward and Build Back Better!
