Recent Community Outreach with Our Eco Warriors

So far this October, our KaiAloha Supply ʻohana had the incredible opportunity to roll up our sleeves and mālama ʻāina (care for the land) alongside Nā Kama Kai, Hui O Ka Wai Ola, and Surfrider Maui. From Pōkaʻi Bay to Maui’s shores, our team joined hands with local keiki, volunteers, and ocean advocates to protect the waters that sustain us.

On October 12, Nā Kama Kai’s Ocean Clinic at Pōkaʻi Bay was full of energy and aloha. Keiki and volunteers learned about ocean safety, marine ecosystems, and cultural practices that honor the sea. Our KaiAloha Supply eco-warriors joined in, sharing tips on sustainable ocean practices while helping with hands-on activities that connect youth to the water.

Along Maui’s coastline, Hui O Ka Wai Ola guided our team through water quality testing — collecting samples and measuring key parameters like turbidity, pH, salinity, and temperature. Each clean drop helps tell the story of our ocean’s health and supports conservation work to protect marine life.

On October 14, our eco-warriors joined Surfrider Maui and Grow Some Good for an Ocean Friendly Gardens Workday at Nā Māla Kaiāulu, a multi-acre agroforest and ocean-friendly garden in Kīhei. Together, we planted, weeded, and restored native plants — helping to capture rainwater, prevent runoff, and keep our oceans clean.

At KaiAloha Supply, our Eco Warriors aren’t just volunteers— they’re makers of change. By participating in events like these, they embody our mission of creating products that honor the environment while inspiring community action. From beach clean-ups to hands-on science, they remind us that caring for our oceans is both personal and collective.

How You Can Join the Movement

Mahalo nui to Nā Kama Kai, Hui O Ka Wai Ola, and Surfrider Maui for inspiring our team and community. Every action, big or small, contributes to healthier oceans and stronger communities. Whether it’s volunteering, supporting local nonprofits, or making conscious choices in your daily life, you too can be an Eco Warrior.
